Designing the BIU Knowledge Website at Bina Insani University
This website is created to enable lecturers who have attended training or activities to share the results they obtained from those events, allowing other lecturers to view and gain knowledge from what has been shared by those who attended the activities.
In Development

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- To share knowledge gained from training or activities into a website forum.
- To document various activities and training conducted so that they can be viewed by other lecturers.
- To serve as a medium for disseminating information related to lecturers’ training and activities.

DESIGN PROCESS
- Project Ideas and Problems: Creating a website forum where lecturers can share knowledge gained from training or activities. This is necessary because many lecturers keep what they learn from such events to themselves, leaving other lecturers unaware of these trainings or activities.
- Research and Understanding of Issues: After identifying the issues, system design will be carried out, including the functionalities of the website, database, and various other aspects.
- Website Development: Next, the development of the designed website will be carried out as per the approved plan.
- Testing and QA: Testing will be conducted to ensure that the website operates without bugs/errors and that all functionalities work correctly.
CHALLENGES
- Building a website system that aligns with the design and functionality to meet the desired website criteria.
- Ensuring the website runs smoothly without any errors or bugs, both visually and functionally.

LESSONS LEARNED
- Learning how to develop a website using the Agile development cycle to meet client needs.
- Using QA testing and Blackbox testing to ensure the website runs without issues.
- Conducting hosting and access restrictions (only lecturers can access) and creating user level management.
